So, I finally made it out of the first marking period of my senior year, and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would turn out. But now that I’m in the second marking period, I have a new independent reading book as well as a project to get done.
For the What is Literature project, one member of my group was absent the majority of the week, sp there were some things that my other partner and I had to take care of ourselves, but that was not too much of a hassle. But we implemented the advice Mr. Schoenborn gave to us about answering the big question and telling why on certain things relating to symbolism and theme, and my partner and I seem to have gotten our presentation for the most part done.
My new independent reading book is A Clockwork Orange, my reasons behind my choice, were that I’ve always wanted to watch the movie but have never gotten the opportunity, so I thought, “Why not read the book? Nothing is going to be left out like there always is in the movie.”, so that was my choice, and I’m very excited to be reading it.
There really isn’t much to not understand this week, so I guess my understanding would be a 5/5 because I did understand all of the stuff we worked on this week. I’m looking forward to presenting my project next week as well as reading this critically acclaimed book.
