,This week of AP Lit was pretty relaxed for the most part. My group kept reading our book, putting notes into Google Slides.
Now obviously I didn't read the book, I listened to it, which resulted in it being a bit slower paced for me to take it all in. My group ended up finishing the book before I did, so I was kind of in a rush to complete it, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the end of The Kite Runner. But if this week has taught me one very important thing, it's that you need to focus on time management for both the sake of yourself, and your group.
Now with the book officially listened to all the way through, there are other aspects of the project that I learned. I began to really understand how to relate the text back to my question of how socialization affects the outcome. I observed that Amir, or Baba, or any character for that matter made certain connections with different characters, and what came of them later was kind of a result of the actions between them. So that taught me to analyze the text as well, because I definitely needed to know the if it was relevant to my topic at hand, or else I feel like I wouldn't think about how out of character it is when one person does this or that. We also started our Weebly for the project, but we did not get very far into it.
So this week has been a little hectic with me trying to finish the book when the others have finished, but there were no huge setbacks or anything.
