This week was pretty relaxed in comparison to the others. My partners and I got our presentations completely done took care of any minute details that we needed to. And then the class got to presenting.
The presentations from the class as a whole were very good. They explained the elements of literature and fiction very well and I was completely involved in the process of it all due to the format of their presentations and their public speaking. I wish I could say the same about my own groups. I realized soon after the first few presentations that they were short and had small lists for the students to elaborate on themselves, my groups was more small paragraphs that didn’t leave much for my group to talk about separately, but I think we did okay with what we had and I’m okay with getting a B on the presentation.
Anyway, I was happy to get a more in depth look at these elements because we’ve never really taken the time to look at all of them, it would usually be symbolism and point of view before this year from what I can remember, so this was what I consider to be a great moment for my literary education.
I would give my understanding of this week a 5/5, mainly because there wasn’t anything really challenging, not to say that nothing came out of it though.
